J!Research
J!Research is a component for Joomla!™ which allows for management of research-related work such as; publications, projects, and theses categorized by research area. The extension is oriented to University researchers and research departments which utilize or plan to adopt Joomla! as their content management system for publishing research.
Download J! Research 1.2.2 Stable for J! 1.5 or Checkout branches/1.2/ folder, svn on Joomlacode.org.

The J! Research component includes the following features and functions:
- Management of Projects, Areas, Publications, Theses, Staff, Facilities and Cooperations.
- Automatic Inline Citation and Bibliography Generation
- APA, MLA, IEEE, Chicago, CSE and Vancouver Citation Styles
- Bibutils 3.x Integration
- Publications Import/Export in MODS, RIS, and Bibtex formats
- Multilingual Support
Road Map
Joomla! 1.6 has been released and the J!Research community cannot stay behind. J!Research 2.0 development has officially started and you can contribute to make this project a reality by becoming the sponsor of any of the upcoming features. Roadmap for J!Research 2.0 includes two alpha releases including:
Alpha 1 (mid-May)
- Support for publications, staff members and research areas like in J!Research 1.x
- Possibility to add staff members without a Joomla! account
- Basic access control support
Alpha 2 (end of June)
- Support for projects and theses like in J!Research 1.x
- Linkage between projects, theses and publications
- Addition of projects and theses from frontend
